Mechanized Survivor

On a world whose name is lost to the sands of time, humanity has been sheltered from their apocalyptic home by a series of hyper-intelligent AI overlords in gleaming walled cities. Their every need is attended to by robotic servants, all at the cost of any independent thought or action. Those who reject the system are cast out into the wasteland, forced to fend for themselves in the vast, near-featureless desert.

Most perish. It’s expected that you will as well.

To walk the wastes is guaranteed death, as the creatures found within can tear a man limb from limb within seconds. Yet those who survive have adapted, and to help fend off the abominations in the wastes, have taken to traversing the wastes in ramshackle vehicles. You take control of one of these survivors, in their heavily modified pickup truck. Along the way, expect to find the remnants of prior wars with these creatures, flamethrowers, industrial saws, and control systems for long-dormant orbital weapons platforms. Without them, even the fastest truck couldn’t outrun fate.

Inspired by other auto-shooters such as Vampire Survivors, Mechanised Survivor combines the frantic mayhem of an auto-shooter with the vehicle mechanics of games such as Factorio to add a spin to the original auto-shooter formula. With absurd weaponry, colorful and numerous enemies, and a banging soundtrack, Mechanized Survivor has all the carnage you can ask for in a bite-sized package for a short sharp shot of adrenaline.

Mechanized Survivor is brought to life with its wonderful pixel art style, which helps to transport players into this desolate wasteland, while  keeping the action easy to read in the heat of battle.

• Roguelike Progression: Evolve your vehicle with each kill, unlocking a diverse array of weapons and upgrades. Adapt to randomised enhancement choices, ensuring every playthrough is a fresh challenge.
• Strategic Choices: Tailor your arsenal to suit your playstyle, selecting upgrades that enhance defence, offence, or resource management to dominate the battlefield.
• Epic Boss Confrontations: Test your mettle against formidable adversaries in epic showdowns, culminating in an ultimate battle against a powerful final foe.

• Dynamic Soundtrack: An adaptive soundtrack by ZEDAXIS that morphs and changes depending on the onscreen action.

Froggie Productions is a game development team based in Australia and comprised of students from Torrens University. Their first project, Mechanized Survivor, was produced in ten weeks as part of their coursework.
